Sadly, when the media covers the Veterans Health Administration, the news is mostly negative. Here is, for example, a story of the kind of innovative program the media too often ignores.
Mark Smith is a dual Canadian and American citizen who works at the San Francisco VA Medical Center working with the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center.
Smith’s maternal grandfather was an infantryman in the US Army and served in World War II, and Smith says that the VA took good care of him in his later years.
