Cory Booker Gets Essential Campaign Reading on Veterans Healthcare

Veterans for Peace member Pat Scanlon gave my book Wounds of War to Presidential candidate Cory Booker. Booker really needs the book because he voted for the VA MISSION Act which sets the stage for VHA privatization and endless harm to veterans. I hope he reads it because if he doesn’t get elected President, he’s still very influential as a Senator and can stop the juggernaut of privatization if that is, he educates himself about veterans’ health. His record on privatization is abysmal. See the account of his collaboration with Mark Zuckerberg to create more charter schools when he was Mayor of Newark in The Prize.

What an outstanding article, thank you a lot for rising this issue.

Being deeply reassured that a great deal of folks would talk about your perspectives, and I even showed your
writing to a close friend of mine. And that is when the arguments began…
We have various views but, naturally, no issue, be it only something regular or
really important, should ruin a real friendship. In my
humble opinion, which surely has the right to exist, the point you’ve made
    cannot be questioned.
